[Admittedly, anyone else would have regarded it as a miracle to be chosen as one of the few participants for the Holy Grail War. Yet, from a step-father who disregarded her existence and rarely talked to her, all Fujino got was a "Do well to not disgrace the family name."

Nonetheless, she took it in stride, having managed to spend months of research and preparation until the day finally arrived. Large, wide area with no one else around? This forest certainly counts, so check. Sigil and catalyst all set-up? Double check. She supposes she should feel nervous. Heck, she's heard of stories where the rituals ended up backfiring and came at a huge cost.

But oddly enough...she doesn't feel neither confident nor deterred in the least.

Taking a couple of deep breaths before concentrating her gaze, Fujino says the chant as she grips at her hand.

The sigil lights up in a brilliant, glowing shine.

All she has to do now is wait.]

[When the light finally dies down, it reveals a tall man clad almost fully in pitch black armor standing in the center. His other distinctive features are a blue cape with black-and-white fur lining the shoulders, and a black eyepatch obscuring his right eye. Currently he isn't holding any weapon, but as he's a Servant, that just means he's not manifesting it. He seems to see no immediate need for it.

The Servant opens his one good eye and gazes at the girl before him. His face remains emotionless for the time being.]

Servant, Lancer. My name is Dimitri. Are you the one who summoned me here?
